Periods 1, 4, 5, & 6:
You will begin reading The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens) on Monday, October 4th. I highly recommend that you buy a copy from a local book store (Half Price Books, Barnes & Nobles, etc.) or online (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, etc.). You will be able to highlight and takes notes in the margins. This will help you with the reading logs, discussions, essays, and other activities.
